Ashley Darby

Ashley Darby is an American performer and TV personality. Her fame grew after becoming Miss District of Columbia, in the year 2011. Since the start the first season of The Real Housewives of Potomac in the beginning of January, 2016 the actress has had an integral role in the show. Ashley Darby has a strong desire to be a successful entrepreneur, she is a lover of hospitality and healthy lifestyles. Ashley came from Maryland and has a lively personality. It has led to a tenacity that is unmatched. Ashley was raised by one mother that was single to care for the younger children and Ashley's elder siblings. As she grew older, she enrolled at college at the University of Maryland and bartended in the meantime in order to make sure she as well as her family financially secure. Ashley, who was bartending when she was in college, got noticed by the Miss District of Columbia Pageant. In 2011, she won! Ashley was met by Michael Darby, an Australian millionaire in real estate who's 29 years younger than her. Ashley met a new world, and was exposed to sparks that flew. Ashley and Michael became married in 2019 and are proud parents Dean Michael, Dylan Matthew and Dylan Matthew. They spent eight wonderful years with each other, but split by 2022. Ashley is qualified as a yoga instructor. Ashley believes peace within is vital, however so is physical fitness. Ashley has had the greatest time of her life, is still working to find a balance between love and family business. Ashley is a model as well as a television host. In the beginning, she worked in the bar industry for financial support. Though she's been passionate about fashion and entertainment from very young, it was not until the time she was noticed. She also entered the contest in a spirited manner. Similarly, in 2011, she was crowned Miss District of Columbia and won her title. The following years she participated in Miss America and even though she didn't win the title of Miss America she won a $500,000 scholarship. She was awarded the $5,000 scholarship along with an interview for the John Curran Award Non-Finalist Interview.
